We now have a LiveUSB creation method right from the windows. So this should help people who are windows users and have never worked on Unix system create a USB without having to leave the comfort of their windows OS. In order to do this please follow these steps.
Using the Multi Architecture Animux
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 GB thumb drive

- Winzip or any zip extractor program
- Access to command prompt
Steps:
- Download the Animux_multi.zip from the download page
- Find out from my computer what drive your USB is mounted (eg. E: F: etc). We will assume E:
- Unzip the files onto your USB drive
- From Windows Click Start -->run --> cmd which brings up the command window
- In the command window (Based on our assumption of our USB mounted on E drive) type E: + hit Enter key (replace with appropriate drive)
- In the command window type, cd \boot\syslinux + hit Enter key
- {CAUTION: IF DONE WRONG, WILL MAKE THE HOST MACHINE UNBOOTABLE.} In the command window type makeboot.bat + hit Enter. This will install the Master Boot Record on your USB drive.
- Umount the USB and Unplug the drive.
- Take it to your test machine with its bios set up to boot off USB and boot from USB.
