Animux can be downloaded from ibiblio.org site. It comes in the form of an '''.img''' or '''.iso''' file. Both these are animux's live desktop media images. The live desktop media implies you can boot rigt into Animux without having to install Animux on your harddisks.

The .img file is to downloaded onto a machine to be written onto a USB drive, while the iso is burnt onto a CD.&nbsp; We recommend using this over the iso as it contains more software than the .iso. The Animux on the USB runs much faster than the iso on the CD.
